At Montrose Church of the Nazarene, giving is an act of worship. It’s a way we trust God, support His work, and participate in what He is doing in our church, our community, and around the world.
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty…"
~Malachi 3:10
As part of the global Church of the Nazarene, we believe everything we have is a gift from God. Giving is not about obligation—it’s about obedience, gratitude, and generosity.
Through your giving, you help:
● Support the ministry and mission of our local church
● Invest in the next generation
● Serve and care for our community
● Share the hope of Jesus around the world
We believe we are not owners—we are stewards of what God has entrusted to us.
Our time, talents, resources, relationships, and even our very lives belong to Him. Giving is one way we live this out—returning a portion back to God as an act of trust and worship.
Stewardship is not just about finances; it’s about living open-handed before God, faithfully managing what He has placed in our care, and using it for His glory.
We receive tithes and offerings during our Sunday morning service each week. You can give by cash or check—whichever is most convenient for you.
Checks can be made payable to Montrose Church of the Nazarene and placed in the offering.
We are currently working on providing a secure and simple online giving option. This will allow you to give anytime, from anywhere. Stay tuned for updates!
We believe giving is more than a transaction—it’s an expression of trust in God and a reflection of a transformed heart. Whether you give regularly or are just beginning, we are grateful for the way you partner with us in ministry.
At Montrose Church of the Nazarene, we also believe in looking beyond ourselves.
In addition to regular tithes and offerings, we participate in special offerings that support global missions through the Church of the Nazarene.
These offerings help:
Through faithful giving, we are part of something bigger than ourselves—joining in God’s work not only locally, but globally.
We don’t take your generosity lightly. Every gift—no matter the size—is a step of faith and an act of worship. It reflects a heart that trusts God and desires to be part of His work. Because of your faithfulness, ministry happens every single week at Montrose Church of the Nazarene.
Because you give:
Your generosity doesn’t just meet needs—it makes an eternal impact.
We are grateful not only for what you give, but for the heart behind it. Thank you for being part of a church that is committed to living open-handed before God and investing in what matters most.
